Alp Kayabasi is a Senior Director for Applications Development at UPS Information Services in Louisville, Kentucky. He is responsible for all UPS Airline Systems that span Flight, Crew, Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering and Gateway operations. Alp began his UPS career in 1996 and worked on various products supporting Package Flow Technology. He later moved on to develop Customer Solutions systems UPS My Choice and UPS Sure Post products. In 2014, Alp moved to Transportation Technology Group to support the Ground Transportation and the Worldport departments. He assumed his current role in UPS Airlines on January 2018. Alp holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a Master of Engineering Science from Loyola University in Maryland. Alp is active in his community through his involvement as the co-chair of the I.T. Louisville University Engagement Committee. He has taught graduate- and undergraduate-level classes in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Towson University and Loyola University in Maryland. Alp has also served as a member of the Loyola University Computer Science Advisory Board, and is a long-time member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Alp is currently serving in University Of Louisville Computer Engineering and Computer Science Industrial Advisory Board.
Sean Jantzen Sr Manager of Application Development over the UPS Ground Transportation Management Systems department. Sean is a 17 year UPSer with 18 years of IT experience in application development, and 8 years in managing IT teams. Sean's department includes four software engineering teams responsible for providing mission critical solutions to support the business with the following capabilities: Hub (Warehouse) management, cargo and equipment inventory management, asset tracking/forecasting, driver dispatching, and driver management. Sean is a graduate of University of Louisville.
