User Interface Design and User Experience:
Leslie Friesen
Power Creative Designer in Residence at UofL. She has more than 30 years
experience as a professional graphic designer. Prior to joining the faculty as
Power Creative Designer-in-Residence in 2002, she was the Art Director and head
of the Creative Services Department for a public relations firm for 17 years.
Her projects there ranged from publication design (magazines, newsletters, brochures,
annual reports), to internal communications, to logo design. She is maintains her
design practice through Point A Consulting, and is the Art Director for Edible
Louisville & the Bluegrass magazine.
Liqing Zhou Lead User
Interface Designer, IDO at GE Appliance & Lights. Liqing works on home energy system and digital
home appliance interface design. Include control panel interface, software interface design and
apps UI design on iphone and ipad. (work flow, wireframe, visual interface design and primary interactive demo).
Liqing recieved many awards including in 2011 the SILVER AWARD in Student Design category of IDEA
* International Design Excellence Award co-sponsored by the Industrial Designer Society of America,
it is one of the TOP three international design awards. The prototype has been collected by The Henry Ford Museum permanently.
Greg Klopper
is an enterpreneur, business developer, motivational speaker and coach. He is also a paraglider pilot.
Greg has 20 years in IT covering web design, marketing, software development, data science and advanced analytics.
